My dreams have become more vivid and bizarre during the COVID-19 pandemic. This phenomenon can be explained by reduced new daily experiences that make our subconscious reach deeper for memories. I found that others were experiencing this too, so I recorded accounts of my friends' dreams as a way to understand how our collective experiences were changing during the Spring of 2020. I was living in lockdown and used this project as a way to emotionally connect with others when I felt very disconnected physically. The photos and written accounts in this project examine ideas of fantasy, imagination, and the collective unconscious during the first chapter of the COVID-19 pandemic.
